According to recent news India and China have indeed agreed to resolve all their remaining issues along the LAC that is Line of actual control in eastern Ladakh that too in an expeditious manner and besides maintaining peace and tranquillity in all the border areas, this joint statement was said on Tuesday which was a day after the conclusion of the dialogue.
These two sides had a positive, constructive and in-depth discussion on the resolution of all the remaining issues which were along the LAC that too in the western sector. In this line with all the guidance which was provided by the leadership and they exchanged views in an open and a forward-looking manner this was read a press which was released by the ministry of external affairs.
The statement concluded by saying that they agreed to resolve all the remaining issues that too in an expeditors manner and it maintains the momentum of all the dialogues with negotiations through military and all diplomatic channels. In this interim, there were two sides to be agreed to maintain peace and full tranquility on the ground in all the present border areas.
The border follows the 18th round of talks which took place in April this year. Both sides have disengaged militarily in many points along all their disrupted border which began in the year of 2020 in May.
Howsoever, troops remain in a standoff which is near Depsang and Demchok. The relations of Bilateral have been frozen since the outbreak of border tension which happened in the year 202. The external affairs minister who is S Jaishankar even made it clear that restoring normalcy on the border is a precondition for all the normal ties.
China has this border crisis which was an issue left over from history and this has urged India to separate discussions on the border from all those on the wider bilateral relationship even though India has been unwilling to.
