Elon Musk appears to have been perplexed as to why his former partner, Canadian singer Grimes, was unhappy when he sent a photo of her having a C-section to her family. The controversial billionaire’s life is chronicled in a new biography by US writer Walter Isaacson, who talked with Grimes and numerous other persons close to Musk while researching the book.
Through interviews with Musk’s family members, including his estranged father, former spouses Tallulah Riley and Justine Musk, and ex-girlfriend Grimes, Isaacson creates a portrayal of a “mercurial’man-child,'” according to one New York Times review.
Grimes, who dated Musk from 2018 to 2022, said the renowned biographer that Musk photographed her while she was undergoing a C-section to deliver their son X A-Xii, now three. Musk then allegedly shared the photo to Grimes’ father and brothers, according to the 28-year-old artist.
In addition to X and their 22-month-old daughter Exa Dark Siderael, the book has stated Musk and Grimes covertly welcomed a third kid. However, it remained unclear when their second son, Techno Mechanicus or “Tau,” was born.
Isaacson also says in the book that the tech mogul’s brother Kimbal Musk and his pals “hated” ex-girlfriend and actor Amber Heard so much that it “made their distaste for Justine [Musk’s first wife] pale.”
“It’s really sad that he falls in love with these people who are really mean to him,” Kimbal said in a book extract published by The New York Times. “They’re stunning, without a doubt, but they have a dark side, and Elon knows they’re toxic.”
Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, also said Musk is attracted to “chaotic evil” while discussing his relationship with Heard. “In D&D, my alignment would be chaotic good.” “Amber’s is probably chaotic evil,” the Canadian singer added, referring to Musk and her mutual love of the fantasy game. “He’s drawn to chaotic evil.” It’s about his father [Errol] and what he grew up with, and he’s easily sucked back into being mistreated. He equates love with being cruel or harsh. There is an Errol-Amber connection. The Tesla CEO dated the Aquaman star briefly from January 2017, during her divorce from Johnny Depp, to August 2017, when Heard announced their breakup on Instagram.
