New Parliament, Day 1: M Kharge vs Nirmala Sitharaman On GST, Women’s Bill

The current proposed women’s reservation bill which ahs already been cleared by the cabinet has indeed triggered a huge war of word between the congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and the Union minister Nirmala Sitharaman today. Speaking of the new parliament he alleged that the reservation will only be manipulated by the present political parties in order to choose uneducated voiceless women who are currently unequipped for the task.

According to the present data the literacy rate of women as considered from the scheduled caste is indeed less and that Is why political parties have a habit of choosing weak women as they never choose the ones who are educated and can really fight back.

They respect the leader of the opposition but in order to make a sweeping statement that all parties choose the women who are not really effective is absolutely considered as unacceptable and we all have been empowered by the party and by the Prime minister himself.

Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi party has even objected to the women’s present reservation bill which has been pending from several years and  Delhi minister Atishi has called it a bill in order to fool all the women ahead of the election of the year 2024.

The BJP according to her is not really interested in the well-being and welfare of all the women as a closer reading of all the provisions of the bill has been that it is called as the Mahila Bewakoof Banao bill.

This bill has offered 33 reservation in the Lok Sabha committee and the state assemblies of India. The reservation will now come into the effect after a delimitation exercise which is undertaken and will be continued for 15 years. Seats are reserved for women which will be rotated after each and every delimitation exercise.
