Just before the start of the ODI world cup 2023 in India which was Himachal pradesh Cricket Association HPCA secretary Avnish Parmar has said that the state cricket board which will sell offline tickets of the matches for all the local fans.
Parmar while speaking at a press conference mentioned that many changes have been made in the Dharamshala stadium before the start of the upcoming World Cup in order to give all the fans a world- class experience.
This HCPA secretary said that even a new drainage system has been installed in the stadium which will help the matches to start even after 15-20 mm of rain and even added that a new LED lights have also been installed.
He even mention about the capacity of stadium which is still the same but the stand have been renovated and he confirmed that the HCPA will soon install several counter to sell the offline for the local fans in the state itself.
According to Avnish Parmar he said in the press conference that before this start of the ODI World CUp 2023 the Himachal Pradesh Cricket association had indeed made some changes all over the stadium and have made a subway system in the stadium which will help the match to start in the rain and have installed new LED lights and many other works are ongoing in the stadium in order to give the whole fan base a world class experience. They will host five matches of the year 2023 ODI world cup which includes India’s clash against New Zealand and the scenic Dharamshala International Cricket Stadium with the Dhauladhar ranges from forming its backdrop which will host five more matches in the World cup.
